What if…

What if you created the life you want, rather than reacted to the life you have?

I’m often a ‘reactor’. I follow the ebb and flow of my my life and for the most part I do a fair job of navigating.

In June I was working 6 days a week – for really good reason: both my companies were doing well and I was going with the ‘flow’. Uh huh – so good!
If you change nothing, nothing will change

My son gently pointed out how much I was working and asked “how does this tie into your view of success?” (We had discussed it as a family, 6 months prior, and I went off on my beautiful plan, only to clearly veer seriously off course.)

Tell me I’m not the only one this has happened to, great plans, intentions, goals. You name it.

When he asked me that question, I had a light bulb go off!

Ok, more like the entire section of a lighting store was switched on in that moment 🙂

Don’t get me wrong. At times we need to work hard and put in extra hours, but this wasn’t a season – this was becoming my life.

I stopped reacting and made some changes to create the life I wanted.

So I restructured over the fall, got cleaner and clearer on the best use of my time, carved and I mean ‘carved’ (picture knife in wood ;)) what I wanted to add more of into my life.

If you’re reading this and thinking “that’s great – not possible in my life, you should see what I have on my plate” first of all, pat yourself on the back – because you’ve confirmed you’re normal. 😉 phew!

We often think there’s not much we can change.

Here’s the challenge:

Pick one thing to change.

Just one.

What’s one thing you can change?

What’s one even teensy weensy change that would move you towards creating a life you want?

Want support in creating a life that’s wildly satisfying?

I’d love to help. Let’s chat – every month I offer 5 free sessions. Grab one!!

In the meantime – what change will you make? I’d love to hear about it 🙂
