Miracles – Anyone? 🙂

What if you started living like you were surrounded by miracles?

My friend Albert, Albert Einstein, that is, said, (amongst some other brilliant things)…

“There are only TWO ways to live your life. One is that nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

Now Albert knows a thing or two, about more than a thing or two. Aaannnd he seems to think there are only TWO options. So if I’m to choose one – I’ll take miracles everywhere – Yes Please. 🙂

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.I was away on business, a couple of days ago, and I went for a morning run – the sun was warm, roses and flowers where hanging over the fences, there were trees, heavy with oranges, over head.  I was so overcome with emotion – the blessing that I could experience that moment…

Healthy body, early morning, out running – it was soooo exquisite. It felt like a miracle.

And it was.

I thought, “Who am I to be able to be able to run, in the sunshine, and smell heaven as I go?”

When, in fact, the fragrance of miracles is everywhere, we just need to stop and take in their aroma.

Last weekend I and 150 others were witness to another.

My brother spoke at his daughter’s wedding about his love for her and her new husband…everyone was overcome with emotion.

This was not a typical speech.

I sat and cried in awe of the miracle; the depth of the beauty that I witnessed.

My brother lost his ability to speak clearly a couple of years ago as a result of a complication of brain surgery.  At the best of times, he’s normally very soft spoken and yet he went up to the podium, at the risk of people not understanding him and he spoke, overcome with emotion himself – his act of flat out courage and love spoke of the miracle, that miracle is carried in the hearts of everyone who had the honor of witnessing it.

So what if you started to look around, everyday, for miracles?

Don’t let them pass you by – it’s your choice to notice.

And in noticing there’s new gifts in every moment – gifts just for you – kinda like Christmas everyday without all the work and the cleaning up! Uh Huh! Now that’s goodness!

May your days be sprinkled with miracles and the air you breath in be filled with their aroma…their fragrance will change your life, one moment at a time.

Don’t take my word for it, and heck if you think you’ve got something on Einstein, who am I to question you, but for now, I choose miracles; every day gifts to remind you and I that life is filled with shocking amounts of goodness.

Having trouble opening your eyes to see the goodness that life has for you?  I’d be happy to help you find your ‘J-spot’ – connect with the joy and meaning that can change your life. I’d love to offer you or someone you know a free 30 minute coaching session. Call me!
